The results are in. We're only getting started.
Strata Staff Surveys combines accessible, professionally delivered employee surveys with independent on-site investigation. Reach people across your workforce, understand the patterns in their feedback, and investigate what the results cannot explain.
Survey technology and administration are provided by Ten Space. Strata leads the engagement and carries out the independent on-site investigation.
One commissioned Strata engagement, with specialist survey delivery behind it.
Built to hear from more of your workforce.
A survey is only as useful as the opportunity people have to take part and the quality of information it can organise. Powered by Ten Space, Strata Staff Surveys brings flexible, professional survey technology into one Strata-led engagement.
Not everyone sits behind a desk.
Reach office-based, frontline, remote and multi-site employees through email, web, WhatsApp, SMS, QR codes or paper, as appropriate. Employees can take part without needing a work email address.
One survey. Different languages and locations.
Survey capability across more than 100 languages helps international and diverse workforces participate. Language availability varies by response channel and is agreed when the survey is designed.
Thoughtful safeguards for sensitive feedback.
Survey anonymity or filtered reporting can be configured to suit the engagement. Role-based access and group-size protections help limit who can see results and reduce the risk of exposing individual responses.
See the patterns, not just the overall score.
Monitor participation, bring responses from different channels into one place, and explore dashboards and comparisons across teams, sites or regions where the agreed confidentiality settings permit.
Designed for your organisation: Strata agrees the questions, participation methods, language requirements, privacy settings and reporting needs with you during discovery. The survey technology is part of the complete Strata Staff Surveys service, not a separate product you need to source.
A survey can identify a concern. It cannot, on its own, establish the cause.
Survey responses are valuable. They also reflect what people choose to share, how questions are interpreted and what the questionnaire can capture. Even sophisticated dashboards cannot independently establish why a problem exists.
Understand the questions leadership needs answered
We document the purpose of the survey, the problems leadership suspects and the outcomes it expects staff to report before responses come in.
Look for contradictions, omissions and patterns
We examine participation, unexpected responses and quieter signals. A positive score is not automatically reassurance; a negative score is not a diagnosis.
Investigate what's creating the conditions
Through confidential conversations, operational observation and relevant evidence, we test explanations before recommending changes.
We follow the signal. Then we follow the evidence.
One symptom. Several possible explanations.
Employees reporting excessive workload may be describing a genuine staffing shortfall. Or the pressure could come from priorities that change constantly, inadequate training, management practice, duplicated work or poor handovers.
We do not arrive with a preferred explanation. We test what the organisation's people and operating evidence actually support.
What your organisation receives.
The precise survey population, sites and investigative scope are agreed before work begins. Every Strata Staff Surveys engagement includes at least two days of focused on-site investigation after the survey.
Normally remote preparation to understand objectives, record expectations and agree the survey's focus.
Survey configuration, invitations and reporting through Ten Space's specialist platform, with the agreed access arrangements.
Comparison with leadership expectations, participation patterns, inconsistencies and questions requiring further investigation.
Confidential staff and management conversations, relevant work observation and examination of operational evidence.
Supported causes, important limitations, operational implications and practical priorities for leadership.
A sequenced set of actions, suggested ownership and progress measures, presented directly to leadership.
Your first survey can be the beginning of a longer journey.
The core engagement gives leadership a diagnosis and a practical 12-month plan. As changes are implemented, organisations may wish to measure whether employees' experience and the operational evidence are actually improving.
Survey, investigate and diagnose
Set the baseline, identify supported causes and establish what leadership should prioritise.
Track actions and implementation
Review responsibilities and progress, with platform tools where available and agreed.
Pulse surveys and focused reviews
Test whether changes are being felt and whether operational indicators support the improvement.
Reassess what remains
A further survey or Strata investigation can inform the next set of business decisions.
Two specialist roles. One Strata engagement.
Ten Space: survey technology and administration
Ten Space provides the survey platform, survey configuration, invitations and reminders, and the agreed dashboard and reporting access. The survey delivery methods are discussed during discovery, tailored to the workforce and included in the agreed project scope and quotation.
Where separately agreed, the platform can also support pulse surveys and action tracking after the initial diagnosis.
Strata: investigation and practical direction
Strata leads the client engagement, commissions the survey delivery, independently reviews the findings, investigates on site and reports what the evidence suggests leadership should change.
The client commissions and is invoiced by Strata for the complete engagement. Strata has a commercial delivery arrangement with Ten Space. Strata's diagnostic findings and recommendations are determined independently by the evidence.
Before you commission a staff survey.
What makes this different from an ordinary employee engagement survey?
The survey is followed by Strata's independent operational investigation. We use employee feedback to decide what needs examining, then speak with staff and managers and test the possible causes against working practices and other evidence. The result is a diagnostic report and prioritised plan, not only a dashboard.
Is the on-site investigation included?
Yes. Strata Staff Surveys includes at least two on-site days, scoped for the location, workforce and issues being investigated. Additional sites or a substantially wider investigation may require a larger scope and fee.
Can you survey frontline or deskless employees?
Absolutely. Frontline and deskless employees are included in Strata Staff Surveys. During discovery we agree the most suitable ways to reach everyone in the survey population, and build those delivery arrangements into the scope and price before the engagement begins.
What happens if the survey results look positive?
We still examine participation, inconsistencies, leadership expectations and relevant existing organisational evidence. A positive result is useful information, but it does not automatically prove that there are no issues worth examining.
Can we run a pulse survey later?
Yes, as an additional project subject to a specific quotation and configuration. A short pulse survey can help assess whether employees are experiencing change, but operational evidence may also be needed to establish why results have shifted.
Who receives staff responses and interview findings?
Reporting permissions, confidentiality protections and data roles are agreed before launch. Survey administration uses the specialist platform. Strata's confidential on-site conversations are reported appropriately at a thematic level, without promising that identifiable information can never arise.
We already have staff survey results. Do we need to run another survey?
Not necessarily. Strata also offers a separate Survey Follow-Through Diagnostic to investigate existing survey findings without requiring a replacement platform.
Before you order another dashboard, decide what you really need to understand.
Tell us approximately how many employees and sites are involved, why you are considering a survey and what decision leadership needs help making. We can discuss whether a survey-led independent diagnosis is a sensible fit.
